Baking for over 100 years!

Jacksons has been a family-owned bakery since 1851, when William Jackson opened his first shop in East Yorkshire.

Jacksons started baking on its current site in Hull in 1907 and opened it’s second bakery in Corby in 2018.  They have come a long way over the years and today are proud to be the UK’s leading supplier of sandwich bread to sandwich manufacturers and foodservice businesses! Jacksons bread is made to the highest standards and bursting with superior quality, taste and texture. They are proud to say that their bread can be found in some of the most popular coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets across the country as well as in healthcare and school settings.

In 2024, the Group acquired Yorkshire-based craft bakery Lottie Shaw’s which now sits within Jacksons Bakery.

Proud Bakers of Yorkshire

Jacksons of Yorkshire is their retail bread brand. Launching in 2012, it was a way of honouring Jacksons roots.

At Jacksons, they believe that everyone deserves a better loaf. And they believe it should be everyone’s right too. Why should consumers settle for the substandard, when there’s a Jacksons loaf available just around the bakery aisle corner. They bake with pride, honesty and traditional Yorkshire spirit, to create tasty baked goods. From their expansion in Yorkshire to becoming a UK wide brand – they believe in better bakery for all.
