Hannah Shipton - Abel & Cole
Hannah was appointed Managing Director of Abel Cole in October 2016. With a background in retail management, Hannah joined our organic online retailer in 2006.
Since then she has led the customer service team, run sales and marketing as a director and more recently been the deputy managing director.
Hannah is hugely passionate about our Abel & Cole brand and is leading the business to delight customers with an exciting and innovative product range and a fantastic shopping experience.
Richard Stables - Jacksons
Richard joined our bakery Jacksons in October 2017 as Business Integration Director before becoming Commercial Director in May 2018.
He has more than 20 years' experience in the food industry, having previously worked at Aunt Bessie’s as Chief Operating Officer and prior to this Apetito, Findus and Heinz.
David Balmer - The Food Doctor
David joined our Group in 2016 initially as Buying Director of our online organic retailer Abel & Cole, later expanding his role to become Buying, Technical & Supply Chain Director at the business. In July 2018 David was appointed as Interim Managing Director of The Food Doctor.
David has a background in the organic food sector previously working at Daylesford Organic Farm, Gloucestershire and before that Marks & Spencer where after starting on their graduate management programme as a Food Technologist he moved into buying and category management roles in the Food to Go.
James Wellock - Wellocks
James was appointed as Managing Director of Wellocks in 2001 after his father, and Wellocks’ founder, Richard Wellock retired.
James initially joined the business in 1984 at the age of 19 and has played a vital role in the growth of the business since it was started in 1961.
Adam Wells - Belazu
Adam founded Belazu in 1991 with his school friend George Bennell. Originally named The Fresh Olive Company, the business went from small beginnings to become the UK’s leading food service Mediterranean ingredients supplier and top-selling retail balsamic vinegar and premium olive oil brand.
In true British entrepreneurial style, Adam has learnt his role on the job over the years and manages the development of the financial, operational and human resource elements of the business while coordinating the creative talents of Product Director George and fellow founder Charlie Hodges who has masterminded the commercial expansion of the company into every sector of the British food industry.
Fraser Parramint - MyFresh
Fraser joined our MyFresh business in October 2018 as Interim Commercial Director. He was appointed Managing Director in March 2019.
Fraser has spent more than 20 years in the food industry, having previously worked in senior commercial roles for Byron Burger, Marks & Spencer and The Restaurant Group.
