Simon Ball - Managing Director, Jacksons


Simon became MD of our bakery, Jacksons, in February 2014.

He has worked with us for a number of years, serving as MD of our Wigan salad business, Hazeldene, between 2007 and 2012 and Group MD Corporate Development between 2012 and 2013.

He then left us for a year to take up the role of Managing Director (Finished Goods) at International Procurement and Logistics Ltd (IPL) before rejoining us as Jacksons’ MD in 2014.

Like a number of our senior colleagues Simon has studied the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in the US.

Tim Proudlove - Managing Director, MyFresh

Tim joined the Group in 2014, initially as Chief Operations Officer of MyFresh. He was appointed Managing Director of MyFresh in May 2017.

Tim has a strong background in the fresh produce industry, working for Florette, Greencore and RF Brookes Limited before joining the Group.

Hannah Shipton - Managing Director, Abel & Cole

Hannah was appointed Managing Director of Abel Cole in October 2016. With a background in retail management, Hannah joined our organic online retailer in 2006.

Since then she has led the customer service team, run sales and marketing as a director and more recently been the deputy managing director.

Hannah is hugely passionate about our Abel & Cole brand and is leading the business to delight customers with an exciting and innovative product range and a fantastic shopping experience.

James Watson - Managing Director, Aunt Bessie’s


James was appointed Managing Director of Aunt Bessie’s in 2014. Prior to this he was Managing Director of Jacksons, a position he held for four years.

He joined us as Corporate Development Director for the Group in 2006. He previously worked for Baxters Food Group and JP Morgan.

Like a number of our senior colleagues James has studied the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Hannah Haas - Head of Marketing, The Food Doctor

Hannah heads up The Food Doctor team as Head of Marketing.

She joined The Food Doctor in 2016 from Abel & Cole where she worked for just over a year as Head of Recipe Boxes.

During her career Hannah has also worked for Tesco – developing and marketing new products, Bespoke Foods in brand management and agency side at a specialist food PR company. After graduating, Hannah ran her own cake business whilst pursuing graduate roles in FMCG.
