Aunt Bessie’s Limited fully supports the principle of equal opportunities in employment, which it considers to be a fundamental aspect of the company's approach to employee relations.
Our aim is to create an environment where all staff are treated fairly and equally regardless of race, religion, ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.
Aunt Bessie’s Limited actively works towards the promotion of equality of opportunity through the application of policies and procedures which ensure recruitment, selection, training and promotion of staff are based solely on an individual's ability to meet the requirements of the job.
Aunt Bessie's Limited cares about the environment and recognises its responsibility to minimise, as far as practicable, the environmental impact of its activities. We do not consider our business to be greatly damaging to the environment, but have identified the following aspects of our operations where we need to be concerned to minimise any detrimental effects:
- The consumption of energy
- The use of packaging materials
- The control of emissions
- The use of transport
- The minimisation and treatment of waste
- The control of noise in residential areas
- The visual appearance of our premisess
